Sega, a well known video gaming company has recently launched their online gambling portal that is online casino and online poker versions. One can visit the following Sega portals to play for real money , segacasino.com and segapoker.com.
Sega firm has launched both poker and casino software's on play tech platforms and has started accepting players from all over the world, except United States and some specified reasons.
One can visit their portal and view the terms and policies laid down in order to gamble and see whether a specific player's country accepts legalized online gambling.

Holidays are going and people are busy shopping offline and online. According to search reports from Google hot trends all shopping keywords are going high but along with that majority of people are also interested in gambling online . Its a wonderful post taken from the online casino advisory site, regarding congress getting aware of money from online gambling legalization.The principles of the Constitution and the vast majority will of the people have called for a removal of the online casino ban and a respect for individual freedom. But, as money to be made increasingly becomes the cause behind Internet gambling regulation, it is now that the elected leaders of the US notice the need to repeal the UIGEA and establish rules for online gaming.
A Congressional study found that, if online gambling were regulated as suggested in Barney Frank's bill, the estimated revenue produced over the next decade would roughly amount to $42 billion. The opinion was rendered by the Joint Committee on Taxation, which applied Frank's prescribed regulation.

Breaking news coming up straight from the online gambling industry that one of the sports betting companie's owner, Gary Kaplan was sentenced for 51 months behind the bars. Gary kaplan was one of the leading businessmen in online gambling industry which took bets from US citizens and was later arrested while boarding flight in US.According to US law, taking bets online is purely illegal and further UIGEA rules were implemented to curb online gambling transactions.
This a very sad news for online gambling industry.
PartyGaming confident for FY as Q3 revenue rises

Internet gambling company, Party Gaming stated that it was confident about its full year prospects, having made a strong start to the fourth quarter.
Party Gaming further added that its total revenue rose 11 percent to $112.7 million in the third quarter from the previous quarter, despite it normally being a weak period for the industry as players take their summer holidays.
Casino revenue climbed 2 percent to $49.2 million.
In Poker, where the company has faced increasing competition from unregulated United States operators such as PokerStars and Full Tilt, revenue fell 8 percent to $45.1 million.
Partygaming to pay $105 million to US dept

According to reports released by market watch, PartyGaming accepted to pay a whooping amount of $105 million to US department of justice for avoiding any prosecution. PartyGaming were in talks with justice dept in US and agreed upon all the terms and conditions laid down by the US authorities.
The agreement between party and dept covers the poker betting service it offered to Americans prior to October 2006, also recently Party's co-founder Anurag Dikshit surrendered himself in front of NY court and agreed to pay $300 million dollars in fine and further agreed to fully coorporate with the authorities in the on going investigation.
Till now many gambling executives were arrested and jailed in United States for breaching gambling laws in US.
As the deal progress, PartyGaming can breath US air and can build strong relationship with US banks and can work freely withotu any prosecution.

Recently, some news sources have confirmed that US government had asked major banks and financial institutions to stop processing online gambling payments. One of the payment processors has seized more than $13 million dollars in gambling transaction where the majority of money comes from giant gambling firm, poker stars and full tilt poker.Both Full tilt and Poker stars are the only giants operating in the US market despite ban in the country and they have both overtook Party Poker as the world largest online poker rooms in terms of players and real money tournamnets.
According to rumors Party may have complained to DOJ about the two giant poker rooms, which still operates US market and making huge money. Party had already settled deal with DOJ for $105 million in order to avoid any prosecution.

In its major survey reports, gambling commission of UK has figured out that there has been a slight improvement or you can say a sight increase in the growth of online gambling market in United Kingdom.It sets out the findings from questions asked through an independent omnibus survey conducted by ICM Research. The annual data is published quarterly, based on an updated sample of 8 000 interviews.
During the survey, it has been concluded that at least 9% of 8000 adults have participated in gambling games through mobile phones, internet and off line .
Overall, in the year to September 2008, 6.7 percent of respondents said they had gambled remotely on the National Lottery/Tickets for the National Lottery draw in the previous month.
UK is the country where in the both off line and online gambling is legal.

Things are looking good for party gaming ever since their settlement with US justice dept. Party agreed to pay whooping $105 million in order to avoid any prosecutions against any executives who travels in United States and many accept funding from US investors. The stock rose to 250 .P from 26 P at LSE. Now the trend is getting shifted towards two of the biggest online gambling sites that is Pokerstars and FullTiltPoker who still operates in US market with out any fear and made millions of dollars per day. Will they be prosecuted ? Who knows anything can happen.
According to some news source Party gaming is trying to help US justice dept to bar poker stars and full tilt from accepting US players. It can be a rumor guys as this news is not confirmed, but this is true that current prohibits online gambling and in near future when the US will legalize poker online then pokerstars and full tilt may have to face problems from Justice dept.
